The Windsor Historical Society collection includes
objects from Native American settlement and the founding
of Windsor in 1633 until the present. The museum
collection consists of approximately 11,000 objects
including decorative arts, fine art, household objects,
personal accoutrements, archaeological artifacts, tools,
machinery, and equipment. We have particularly strong
holdings in Victorian decorative arts and costume from
the period 1840 to 1930.
