Windsor: Bridging Centuries, Bridging Cultures will tell Windsor’s story over the past 400 years, display treasures from the Windsor Historical Society’s collections, and link the displays to additional learning experiences at the society and other institutions. Each of the Society’s galleries will tell a different part of Windsor’s story. The colonial gallery will recount Windsor’s founding and explore its development from a Native American home site to an English-modeled town. The post-1800 gallery will follow Windsor’s history as it grew from a farming community to bustling suburb. Explore the events and meet the people that have shaped Windsor’s history.
