Babe: A Little Pig Goes a Long Way
Remember family nights at the
movies? Bring the family or just bring yourself, but
definitely join film aficionados at Windsor Historical
Society on Friday, October 28th at 7:00 p.m. for free
popcorn and a 10th year anniversary screening of
the 1995 movie classic Babe: A Little Pig Goes A Long
Way.
Many
species of animals live on the Hoggett farm. Each animal has
a job to do, tries to do it well and knows his or her place
in the world. Can a kind and enterprising little
piglet learn the skills of a sheep dog and save himself from
becoming Christmas dinner? Come watch this family friendly
barnyard tale unfold.
Connecticut
State Historian Walter Woodward will give a short opening
commentary at the beginning of the film. The cost is $6 for
adults, $5 for senior and students, $15 per family with
Windsor Historical Society member admitted at $4 apiece.
