On Sunday June 28^th, step back in time to take a trolley ride of your own.  Ride the trolley up the old streetcar route from Wilson to Poquonock Avenue, ending your tour at Northwest Park with a picnic lunch provided by the Beanery.  Educator Julia Baldini will give you perspective on what life was like in early 20^th century Windsor and how trolleys affected the experience.  Tours begin and end at the L.P. Wilson Community Center at 599  Matianuck Avenue in Windsor.  You can catch the 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ride or the 1 to 3 p.m.ride.  Cost is $25, $20 for society members and the lunch is included.  Reservations and payment are required by June 26^th and may be made by calling 860-688-3813, ext. 102.
